Here is a lovely review I received this week -

I thoroughly enjoyed my two days of Encaustic training with Dawn in her lovely home and studio.  I don't have an artistic background and only knew a little bit about encaustic photography and art, but with Dawn's patient and knowledgeable teaching by the end of the two days I had produced some work I was really pleased with, and I will definitely carry on experimenting with all the methods she showed me.

Dawn was so friendly and welcoming, and really enthusiastic about her subject which was very inspiring.

    Thank you Dawn !

  6. A lovely testimonial received from one of my recent photo-encaustic workshops............

I discovered Dawn's course after spending a few weeks doing a thorough search online for photographic encaustic workshops in the UK.

After reading a few reviews and communicating with Dawn to agree some dates, I was all set for the August summer holiday.  Reviewing my options, I decided to do two full intensive days with Dawn.  The idea was to cover the basics and techniques on the first day and then to finish on the photographic image transfer process on the second day.  I was never really satisfied with trying to learn from videos and various online sources, and before investing in materials and encaustic equipment I definitely felt it well worth the time and effort to receive practical lessons from Dawn.  I highly recommend the course.  Dawn is super friendly, a great conversationalist and makes a great lunch!.  You'll have a great couple of days learning from her.

Thank you so much Liam for a wonderful review.

If you would like to learn Photo-Encaustic please get in touch,  come and learn how to use bees wax and resin to make beautiful artwork from your photographs which are then transferred using various techniques using a heat gun and mixed media.
